On April 19, 1775 the British came to Lexington and concord but the militia drove the British back to Boston.

The British went to Lexington and order the militia to disperse, shots were fired and about 200 British troops were killed.

The rest of the colonies joined New England and took control of the war in Washington.
Describe the book Common Sense and the affect it had on the colonies:
This was a book written by Thomas Paine in 1776 about his opinions of independence.
Describe the signing of the Dec of Independence:
It was written by Thomas Jefferson only July 4, 1776.
